Commissioned to create a large-scale kite on the occasion of the 1988 Dragon Exhibition of the Goethe Institute in Osaka as part of a cultural exchange, Tom Wesselmann created an original screenprint complete with bamboo sticks and string. The artwork is hand-numbered in pencil, measuring 26 ¾ x 21 ¼ in (67 x 54 cm), unframed and is from the original edition of 300 as issued.
