Provenance: This was made by Sir Peter to raise funds for the Pallant House Gallery and featured in their 2004 auction. At the sale it was purchased by the late Wilfred and Jeannette Cass. Cass (died 2022) was a notable figure and highly successful businessman. Long-term friends of Henry Moore and Elisabeth Frink, Wilfred and Jeannette sold their own personal collection of Moores, Frinks and Ayrtons, which they had bought directly from these artists, to fund the creation of their own sculpture park.
Condition: The sheet is sound; deckled edge to upper border; excellent original condition with strong colour.
