One of c. 50 uncounted separate impressions besides the book edition, published in "Deutsche Graphiker der Gegenwart" by Klinkhardt & Biermann, Leipzig. According to Karsch probably printed by the artist himself. Provenance: Estate of the artist, with the stamp and the signature of Erich Heckel on the verso (Lugt 1829d); Galerie Nierendorf, Berlin; Collection Dieter W. Posselt.
