This refined color lithograph, printed by the legendary Atelier Mourlot in Paris on fine Arches paper with a watermark, reproduces the left portion of Le Bassin aux Nymphéas (1917–1919), one of Claude Monet’s late masterworks. Originally painted in oil on canvas, this meditative composition captures the shimmering reflections and atmospheric nuance of his water garden at Giverny.
The lithograph was published for an exhibition at the Musée Marmottan in Paris and bears Monet’s printed signature in the lower left. It faithfully translates the fluid brushwork and tonal subtleties of the original with exceptional depth and clarity.
